When the criticism drops away, what you will see then is just you, without judgment, and that is the first step toward transforming your experience of the world.” ― “When people show you who they are, believe them the first time.
~Maya Angelou Remember this because it will happen many times in your life. When a man doesn't call you back the first time, when you are mistreated the first time, when someone shows you lack of integrity or dishonesty the first time, know that this will be followed many many other times, that will some point in life come back to haunt or hurt you.

Her name is Gayle King, and she's the jelly to Winfrey's peanut butter, her ride or die, and a permanent fixture in the media mogul's life.
Oprah and Gayle's relationship started off like most friendships.
Oprah was born a Baptist in Mississippi, but has recently endorsed the New Age spritualism of Ekhart Tolle and some suspect she is starting her own religion. She has relentlessly promoted the views and writings of New Age spiritualist Eckhart Tolle and held seminars on the web, given speeches about it, and talked about it on her shows to the point that many are saying she is trying to start her own religion–and it’s really pissing off the hardcore Christians, including the fundamentalists at Fox News. And strangely, Pantheism is often associated with silly New Age religions, which is exactly what Oprah’s in to.’ I said, ‘I think this is beyond and above politics.’ It feels like something new.
